Into the Shadows

There are two realms—and most people only know one of them exists.

On one side is the realm of Earth, the human world: familiar, ordinary, and blissfully unaware. A few paranormal beings live there, hidden in plain sight, but they’re rare and careful, keeping their heads down and their magic quieter. Most humans will go their whole lives without realizing anyone else ever walked among them.

But beyond that lies a second realm. One carved from magic, danger, and old power—home to supernatural beings, shadowed cities, and darker alleys. A place with its own territories, politics, and problems.

Travel between the realms is strictly controlled. Only certain beings can do it naturally, yet everyone needs government-issued clearance—or connections they probably don’t want to explain. Unauthorized crossings? Illegal. Often fatal.
